Faithbridge Leon
Leon, Nicaragua
Joe and Marcela Sevilla were born in the city of León, Nicaragua. At a young age, they received God's call to serve in a local church where they met and grew up in the worship and youth ministries. They married in 2011 and have two children, and have two children, Ariadna, 12, and Joe Marcelo, 10. In August 2021, they received God's call to start a church in León. They began gathering people in a small room at Marcela's mother's business. In September, they met with Pastor Paul White, senior pastor of Faithbridge Jax. Following that meeting, Faithbridge Dayenu Church was born with the vision of making disciples who make disciples. Today, Faithbridge Dayenu Church is a growing church with a vision to plant three new churches and establish 900 disciples in Nicaragua.

Faithbridge Español
Jacksonville, Florida
Our family came from Venezuela to the United States in 2020 following a very clear call from the Lord. God placed in our hearts the vision to serve and help plant a Hispanic church that would reach families for Christ here in Jacksonville Florida. Today, Will serves as the Pastor of Faithbridge Español and he is a Church Planter for the North American Mission Board; together, we’ve had the privilege of walking with families, discipling new believers, and building a community where people from different countries can come together to worship Jesus. We’ve seen God’s faithfulness in so many ways — in the lives transformed, in the families restored, and in the way He continues to open doors for the gospel.

- God’s supernatural provision and open doors in all the challenges that we experience as a family and minister.
- The community we serve — that many would experience God’s love.
- For the next women outreach event, that woman can experience a personal encounter with the Lord.

The Bridge
St. John's County, Florida
Scott and Melissa are not new to church planting. In 2011 they planted The Bridge Ministries in central Ohio. They pastored there for 14 years before hearing and heeding God’s call in 2025 to move to Jacksonville, Florida and plant a new church. Scott has a master's degree from Ohio Christian University and is endorsed by NAMB. Scott and Melissa have 6 grown children and 5 grandchildren. They have two children still at home Analily 13 and Judah 8. They are so excited to step into this stage of life and to grow God’s Kingdom. The goal is to plant this new church in St. Johns County by September of 2026. By strategically locating ourselves in the community, we will have the opportunity to reach, love, and serve people that are ripe for spiritual harvest! By God’s grace, we seek to plant a church that will bring the hope of the gospel to our neighborhood and the surrounding communities that are growing so rapidly. There is a deep discernment that God is up to something big in St. Johns County and we are thankful to be part of His amazing work.

Ekklesia Jax
Jacksonville, Florida
Cedric and Chardel Lauchner are passionate about seeing people encounter Jesus, grow in discipleship, and live on mission daily. Together, they are planting Ekklesia Jax in Jacksonville, Florida, with a vision to build a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, multiethnic church rooted in prayer, Scripture, and authentic community. Their heart is to create a church where people from all walks of life can belong, be discipled, and be sent into the city as ambassadors of Christ. Ekklesia Jax exists to help people live out their faith beyond Sunday gatherings through what we call “EKK 247” — living on mission 24/7. Through prayer gatherings, Bible teaching, outreach, and intentional relationships, the church seeks to impact Jacksonville with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Cedric and Chardel are committed to serving families, strengthening marriages, raising up leaders, and helping people discover their God-given purpose. Their prayer is that Ekklesia Jax would become a healthy, gospel-centered church that reflects the love, truth, and power of Jesus in the community.

We are trusting God for provision, favor, and wisdom throughout this process.

We are a Persian-speaking family serving in Toronto, Canada, with a passion to share the
hope and love of Christ among newcomers, refugees, and the Iranian community. After leaving Iran because of our Christian faith and ministry background, God opened a new door for us to continue serving Him in Canada. Over the years, we have been involved in pastoral ministry, discipleship, biblical teaching, and counseling ministry among Farsi-speaking people. Our church exists to proclaim the Gospel, build authentic Christian community, and help people encounter Jesus personally. We especially desire to walk alongside those who feel lonely, wounded, displaced, or spiritually searching. Through Bible studies, worship gatherings, prayer, and practical support, we seek to reflect the love and grace of Christ in everyday life. Our vision is to see lives transformed by the Gospel and new disciples raised up to serve God faithfully. We believe the church is not simply a meeting place, but a spiritual family shaped by hope, truth, and sacrificial love.
