CHURCH PLANTS

We imagine a future where everyone at Faithbridge lives sent - loving compassionately, giving generously, and speaking boldly. Together, as we work to plant or replant 20 churches worldwide, we will be carrying the same mission to represent Jesus and advance the gospel.

Faithbridge Dayenu

Leon, Nicaragua

Joe and Marcela Sevilla were born and raised in the city of León, Nicaragua. At a young age, they received God's call to serve in a local church where they met and grew up in the worship and youth ministries. They married in 2011 and have two children Ariadna and Joe Marcelo. In August 2021, they received God's call to start a church in León. They began gathering people in a small room at Marcela's mother's business. In September, they met with Pastor Paul White, the Senior Pastor of Faithbridge Church. Following that meeting, Faithbridge Dayenu was born with the vision of making disciples who make disciples. Today, Faithbridge Dayenu is a growing church with a vision to plant three new churches and establish 900 disciples in Nicaragua.

Current Prayer Requests:

- Pray for Esteli City, the next city we hope to plant a church in.
- Pray for the development of committed leaders.
- Pray for resources for projects and vision.

Faithbridge Español

Jacksonville, Florida

Will and Dayana Zuleta came from Venezuela to the United States in 2020 following a very clear call from the Lord. God placed in their hearts the vision to serve and help plant a Hispanic church that would reach families for Christ here in Jacksonville, Florida. Today, Will serves as the Pastor of Faithbridge Español and he is a Church Planter for the North American Mission Board. Together, they've had the privilege of walking with families, discipling new believers, and building a community where people from different countries can come together to worship Jesus. They've seen God’s faithfulness in so many ways — in the lives transformed, in the families restored, and in the way He continues to open doors for the gospel.

Current Prayer Requests:

- Pray for God’s provision & open doors in all the challenges that we experience as a family and minister.
-  Pray for the community we serve & that many would experience God’s love.
- Pray for our Women's outreach event, that they will experience a personal encounter with the Lord.
- Pray for the consolidation of the leadership of the Church.

The Bridge

St. John's County, Florida

Scott and Melissa Gibson are not new to church planting. In 2011 they planted The Bridge Ministries in central Ohio. They pastored there for 14 years before hearing and heeding God’s call in 2025 to move to Jacksonville, Florida and plant a new church. Scott has a master's degree from Ohio Christian University and is endorsed by NAMB. Scott and Melissa have 6 grown children and 5 grandchildren. They have two children still at home, Analily and Judah. They are so excited to step into this stage of life and to grow God’s Kingdom. The goal is to plant this new church in St. Johns County by September of 2026. By strategically locating ourselves in the community, we will have the opportunity to reach, love, and serve people that are ripe for spiritual harvest! By God’s grace, we seek to plant a church that will bring the hope of the gospel to our neighborhood and the surrounding communities that are growing so rapidly. There is a deep discernment that God is up to something big in St. Johns County and we are thankful to be part of His amazing work.

Current Prayer Requests:

- Pray that God helps us develop our team.
- Pray for God's protection and provision.
- Pray for the Gibson family to find gospel centered friendship and community.

God's Body Church

Toronto, Canada

Nathanael & Semaneh Fallahi are a Persian-speaking family serving in Toronto, Canada, with a passion to share the hope and love of Christ among newcomers, refugees, and the Iranian community. After leaving Iran because of their Christian faith and ministry background, God opened a new door for them to continue serving Him in Canada. Over the years, they have been involved in pastoral ministry, discipleship, biblical teaching, and counseling ministry among Farsi-speaking people. Their church exists to proclaim the Gospel, build authentic Christian community, and help people encounter Jesus personally. Nathanael & Semaneh especially desire to walk alongside those who feel lonely, wounded, displaced, or spiritually searching. Through Bible studies, worship gatherings, prayer, and practical support, they seek to reflect the love and grace of Christ in everyday life.
